Hi, I’m Becca (she/her)

My practice is based on and led by the body’s intrinsic wisdom and ability to self-regulate and heal. At Cloud Gate, my aim is for people to experience a place where they feel seen, heard and supported in their journey towards health. Cloud Gate is somewhere to find the agency & inner power that comes with being compassionately held accountable for ways in which to step into automony. It’s also a place to remember how to relax, let go and connect to the body. Cloud Gate is an invitation to discover the unique and enduring benefits that Classical Chinese Medicine can bring in clearing pathology and promoting vitality.

“I aim to create space for transformation, in the sense that perspective and physiology can always shift.”

I’m of Irish and Scottish settler descent and was born on Ngunnawal country (Canberra). I have lived on beautiful unceded Wurundjeri country (Melbourne) for the last 20 years and recently re-located to the lands and waters of Djilang , Wadawurrong country where I live with my husband Takeshi and son Issei.

I have over 15 years clinical experience and I’m registered as an allied heath care provider by AHPRA. My approach is holistic, comprehensive, and professional. My practice is rooted in Classical Chinese Medicine as taught in the tradition of Ann Cecil Sterman & Jeffery Yuan.

I also from Western health bioscience, along with Taoist and Zen Buddhist philosophy and practice. I have lived experience of healing gynaecological disorders and anxiety through Chinese medical treatment. As part of my ongoing professional development, I have recently embarked on studies in somatics and trauma-informed care.
